The Montreal team is in Ohio to face the Columbus Crew, which is only 6 points behind Wilfried Nancy’s squad. In the 74th minute, thunderstorms forced the referees to put the game on hold. It was 9:18 p.m. at that time. Then, the players returned to the pitch at 10:30 p.m. for a new warm-up, and the kick-off took place at 10:41 p.m.
With a dozen games to play, the Bleu-blanc-noir is third in the East with 36 points in 22 games. The Crew is sixth.
This game will notably mark the 100th departure of Rudy Camacho’s career in a Montreal uniform.
In addition, several changes have been made to the starting XI for tonight’s duel.
Sebastian Breza will be the starting goaltender, despite James Pantemis’ last three starts in which he allowed just one goal and went 2-0-1. Besides that, Kamal Miller, Alistair Johnston, Samuel Piette, Lassi Lappalainen, Samuel Piette, Romell Quioto and Mason Toye, all holders against the defending champions four days ago, are on the bench. They are replaced by Gabriele Corbo, Zachary Brault-Guillard, Mathieu Choinière, Ismaël Koné, Joaquin Torres and Kei Kamara.
This will be the second game of a series of three that CF Montreal has played in eight days. After going 0-0 against New York City FC last Saturday, the Football Club will return home on Saturday to face Inter Miami.

CHANCE QUIOTO 65TH MINUTE –
67th minute – Another change from Nancy is acting up. Near the goal line to the left of keeper Room, Johnston backs Koné, who in turn slides to Kei Kamara, who is between the penalty spot and the edge of the box. This one strikes in first intention but just misses the net.
