The organization of the Economic, Industrial and Commercial Days of Cameroon in Macedonia, which will be held from September 19 to 25, 2022, is a perfect illustration of this.

Difficult is the economic situation of Cameroon as a whole at the moment, caught as it is currently in the vertiginous whirlwind of rising prices and high prices, Paul Biya and his ministers are inventing sustainable and adapted solutions to get out of the rut. They multiply actions for this, forge partnerships to hope to reverse the deal, without however, clear and deep legibility being brought to see on the ground of concrete change. Year after year, actions are taken without this at the other end of the chain, producing the results really expected. The country is collapsing, the economy is shrinking, the horizon is darkening on the way to the emergence of Cameroon.

A breath of fresh air from Macedonia

There is no direct flight from Yaoundé Airport to Skopje Airport. For an air distance of 4355km (2706 miles) the fastest flight lasts 13h 40m and includes a stopover. A course that is worth the effort in these lean economic times. Thanks to the action of a few civil society organizations and employers, hope for a different tomorrow is reborn.

Prominent among these organizations is the Network of Innovative Companies for the Complete Industrialization of Cameroon (REICOCAM)which is the bearer of a serious initiative, relating to the organization of Industrial and Commercial Economic Days of Cameroon in Macedonia (JEICAM). The event, which will be held from September 19 to 25, 2022 in Skopje, aims to provide precise answers to the major problems that are shaking the local economy, beyond the uncertainties of the passage of time.

An interesting target at hand

The targeted sectors are recruited in: processing, agrifood, the textile industry, energy, transport, among others. Initiative which is in line with the vision of the Head of State Paul Biya, when he declares the following: “In a world marked by an ever-increasing interdependence of economies and societies, the challenge is to build authentic spaces of shared prosperity. It is a question of building a new type of economic and sociopolitical relations, around the idea of mutual benefit between partners… This is what Cameroon is looking for. It will continue its efforts in this direction, to ensure that national and foreign investors benefit from the best possible supervision…”.

To date, many of them have understood this within the government and related state bodies, even through the mobilization they demonstrate on a daily basis, in the direction of supporting the JEICAMs: “I was not aware of this event, the Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises had to submit an information note so that we were informed. Now we are mobilizing in our organization to be able to make our contribution to the influence of our economy”, emphasizes Rebecca NGUIMBOUS, economic operator in the agricultural sector.

Like her, many partners have grasped the merits of the JEICAMs, the final objective of which is the total, industrial, economic and commercial transformation of Cameroon, in a win-win partnership market. A month and two weeks before the event, the lines seem to be moving within the business environment to make this meeting a total success.

Four good reasons to support the Journal Chrétien

There are four good reasons to take the plunge:

Reason 1: an indispensable link in the media landscape

The Journal Chrétien is a medium of hope which pass the information through the sieve of the Gospel. It speaks of the joys and hopes as well as the sorrows and anxieties of the women and men of our time. In a media landscape marked by lies and fake news (misinformation, false news, false information, misleading information), the Christian Journal positions itself as the media of truth. Our journalists and correspondents try to approach the truth of the facts with great humility.

Reason 2: independent funding

Le Journal Chrétien is a rare example in the French-speaking media landscape: totally independent, non-profit, free access and without advertising. It receives neither public subsidies nor private support from a multinational or a church, which enables it to provide information free of any conflict of interest.

The resources of the Journal Chrétien are entirely private and rely exclusively on the generosity of Christians who understand that the development of such a medium is essential to guarantee the pluralism of the press in the world and to make the voice of Christians heard, carried by hope. of the gospel.

Reason 3: a multidisciplinary activity

The Christian Journal funds projects in several areas of interest to Christians. Here are some of the projects developed by the Journal Chrétien team:

– A Christian social network. Chretiens.net is the first social network of evangelical Christians. Its principle is identical to that of Facebook. The user has an account, adds other people as friends, can post texts, photos and videos, browses a news feed to see the news of his friends, can create pages and groups or chat live.

– A Bible study platform. Audio Bible is a Bible resource site for developing countries, where poor Christians have difficulty accessing the Bible. There are about twenty Bible translations in several languages, three verse-by-verse commentaries on the Bible, four Bible dictionaries, two Greek-French and Hebrew-French lexicons, a Bible concordance, an interactive Bible atlas, a comparison of the versions of the Bible. It is published by the Journal Chrétien, an online press service whose aim is to take a Christian look at the society in which we live.

– A Christian channel project. Christians TV is an evangelical Christian television channel in development and aimed not only at Christians and church leaders, but at anyone who is looking for meaning in their life. The channel being in its infancy, its distribution is done only by Internet (Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Its slogan: “The media of the Body of Christ.”

– Two Christian applications. We have developed two Christian apps which are of great blessing to many Christians.

Bible.audio is an application offering audio Bibles (French + English), an interactive Bible atlas, the interlinear Bible, a Bible concordance, a Bible translation comparator, Bible commentaries verse by verse, Greek / French and Hebrew lexicons / French with audio, Bible dictionaries, etc. Download the Bible.audio app at App Store (iPhones, iPads) and Google Play. (Android devices).

The Christian Journal is a Christian application that develops a Christian perspective on current events and on the society in which we live. It works to enlighten consciences with a view to a just and fraternal society. Download the Christian Journal app on App Store (iPhones, iPads) and Google Play (Android devices).
